Worship Night - "From Ashes to Grace"
February 27th at 7pm in the sanctuary
The Lake Shore Church Band is excited to share we are presenting our third ever worship night – this time in celebration of the Lenten season! Join us in the sanctuary on Friday February 27th at 7pm for an awesome time of worship in concert fashion. In times past, this event is music heavy; including both upbeat and heartfelt praise songs, sharing of scripture, and moving testimony. We love doing events like these to invite all members into a comforting space to dive into an intimate moment with God.
For this worship night, the theme is “From Ashes to Grace”, shaped by the Lenten journey. The message is a reminder to slow down, reflect, and remember the forgiveness Jesus has given when he gave his life for us all. It’s a chance to bring all our mess, questions, and need for God’s grace. In this time of worship, we can rest in our faith that He meets us there.
We look forward to you joining us as we move from ashes into grace together.

Toledo Zoo Snooze
Saturday April 18th - 19th (departing at 4pm on Saturday and arriving back at 4pm on Sunday)

Have your kids join our youth group for this amazing OVERNIGHT zoo experience!
We will meet at the church at 4pm on Saturday, April 18th, 2026 where we will board the bus to head to the Toledo Zoo. We will return at the church at approximately 4pm on Sunday, April 19, 2026. The cost to attend is $60.00/person. There is an option to preorder a 'I Snoozed at the Zoo' t-shirt for an additional $15.00/person.
RSVP by Sunday, 2/15/2026. The church must pay and give our final count 8 weeks in advance.
Our experience will include a guided walking tour of parts of the Zoo, meeting animal ambassadors, admission to the Zoo the following day, pizza dinner (on Saturday), and a cold continental breakfast (on Sunday).
We will be sleeping in the Arctic Encounter exhibit, between the polar bears and seals and sea lions (animals may not be on exhibit during sleeping times). This program teaches about conservation and includes a conservation talk with a zoo keeper, making animal enrichments and learning activities centered on protecting wildlife.
Additional money will be needed for lunch at the Zoo on Sunday.
